moving english class

A girl who looks extremely spindly (although very nice and also in my maths class), came down the stairs just as me and Mattie were wondering where our new English class was, because before - in the second to top English class - we moved around the school a lot and were never in the English block. So it was a new adventure.

The girl lead us upstairs and to the new class. A woman who looked a bit like an apple greeted us, she introduced herself and assigned us seats. I am now sat next to a shy boy who is rude when he opens his mouth and talks. My friend is also in this class and she is really nice, but I don’t normally hang out with her.

We started a new piece of work and we have to read a book as a class. It is a good book so far, and when I read out loud in class, I sounded really retarded because I stumbled over every word, (well, not every, I am just not that good at reading out loud!)

In history I asked the teacher where me and Mattie should sit, and she said behind my friend and this other boy, who is quite annoying. I took my Blazer off because I was hot, and I thought it was OK to take it off because some other people had. The teacher said to one boy she didn’t give them permission to take theirs off, and some people quickly put their blazer back on, but I didn’t think of that. And I asked the teacher if I could take mine off, just to check it was OK, although I wasn’t quite sure what would happen. The teacher said I already had and told me to say “Do you mind if I take my blazer off, miss?”. Then she said to everyone we had to keep our blazers on, and open the windows. That teacher was really bitchy.
