In science my tutor teaches me. He is really dull and annoying, although I think he flirts with another teacher even though he looks like he just finished teacher school and the other teacher, she looks like 30ish!
Anyway, we were doing stuff on flares, and I didn’t have a clue what a flare was! So the girl next to me had to explain to me, and I felt really retarded! And I soon found out that it is like a signalling SOS thingy. Our practical was to find out what each of the salts thingies colour is.
I asked the girl next to me if I could go with her, even though I don’t really like her much. She chose to not say anything to me, and then said she was going with these other two girls. So I asked on of my real friends who said yes, even though I thought she would go with someone else. So I went with her, but we had to go in a group of three, so we asked the girl sitting next to her, she also chose to ignore us, and then we asked the girl next to that girl, who also chose to ignore us! It was starting to get annoying!
Finally the girl sitting next to the girl sitting next to my friend (I know, confusing!) said that she would go with us. So we got the stuff we needed (those salty things that change the colour of the flame coming from the Bunsen burner, and the Bunsen burner stuff)
We did it all and were packing away, when I thought I had some of the liquid stuff on my hand, I only just put it under the tap and rinsed it with water. But throughout the whole day I had a really runny nose! Everyone thought I was crying but I wasn’t I was just having a sniffly nose! I don’t think it was related to the stuff on my hand, because I think it is just me starting to get a cold!! I really don#t want to get a cold! Even though this morning I had a really bad headache and my throat was sore, and I had a runny nose I said to my mum that I wasn’t feeling very well, but she said I had to go to school!! :(
